• Gathering the requirements for Scheduling, Claims, Billing and EMR (Electronic Medical Records)
• Responsible for developing state of the art solutions for managing various types of health care information from different medical practices
• Coordinate with global and local teams and clients for requirement collection, solution definition, development and support
• Coordinate with team in India, for defect resolution. Setup, configure and customize ModuleMD application for the new clients
• Deployment of software module packages like Gateway migration, Reports, eRx, GCode, 835 Implementation
• Identifying and fixing issues in EDI 837, HCFA 1500 paper claims and EOB 835 postings
• Maintain the ModuleMD in-house and third party integration modules like AllScripts ePrescribing, Gateway Claims, Quest Labs, and Transcription Services
• Responsible for bug fixing, deploy the fixes and maintain the code in current production environment
• For version control, coordinate with teams to make sure the fixes carry forward to current and latest versions
• Provide customized and monthly maintenance reports as per the clients and account managers request
• Research & develop Claims-Engine and Collections module for ModuleMD application to improve the efficiency in claims processing, handling and billing process. Document and maintain the release packages and deployment procedures for ModuleMD

Experience: 5 years in the position above, as a Programmer/Analyst, or in a related occupation. Experience must include at least 18 months healthcare industry experience using Integration Suites for A2A & B2B integration, including Gentran, GXS, Mercator, Web Methods, See Beyond eGate Integrator, Biz link, and X Engine; Contivo Mapping Tool, Gentran Map Editor, AI, Biz Mapper, and EC Mapper to translate data from one format to other format, including EDI ANSI X12, EDIFACT, IDOC, XML, database, and customized flat files; EDIFECS and EDISIM in Windows; MSSQLServer, Oracle, and MySQL servers, with .NET and EAI frameworks, using HIPAA, HCFA 1500, EDI ANSI X12, EDIFACT, HL7 and IDOCS standards, executed through C#, Extended Java Script, T-SQL, PLSQL, AS1/AS2/AS3, SOAP, XML, XSLT and Web Services technologies.

Leading the Product Development effort in Medical domain to create a brand new web based, Software as a service, Practice Management Software Product by

• Gathering the requirements for Scheduling, Claims, Billing and EMR (Electronic Medical Records)
• Create Project scope document, system requirement specification and high level design document
• Building the necessary Infrastructure by creating the processes, standards, software configuration management, software build process and automated testing to build a successful product
• Hire and Lead a team of people to design and develop the product using ASP.NET 3.5, AJAX, MS SQL Server 2005 and agile software development
• Drive the full software development life cycle from inception through post-production
• Integrate software with various vendors
